Breaking out the Bunny with the NOTSO comb.

The VDH Luxury Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #144 finest badger brush. I did two passes the Bunny V3 and Ted Pella Injector blade, I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today the star of the show today was my Parker silvertip. It made such nice lather I didnt want to stop at three passes.

 

It took the place of a half dozen post war Gillettes I'm my den and I don't miss any of them.

Great pic! Beautiful razorThe Hoshi Tombo 6000 is possibly my favorite Japanese razor; always gives such a smooth and effortless shave even with a week of growth.

 

'Smooth & effortless' is an apt description. Shorter blade than a traditional western SR. I had this razor tucked away in the back of the drawer within a box. Nearly forgotten. Silly on my part. Definitely belongs in the regular rotation.

Very good 3 pass shave tonight. The H.L. Thater Funf TSN LE Butterscotch Beehive 2 Band 5th Anniversary is working out very well.

After what must have been 4 years of off&on use, it was finally time to toss the Stephan Daily Herbal shampoo. It's a timeless(1897)classic. It did me well.

What a trio this Glacial Wintergreen stuff - frigid menthol, tons of awesome lather from the soap with wonderful skincare, the balm and witch hazel are equally cold and just as skin-friendly. You just can't go wrong!

Tonight's shave was with a newly acquired and honed French razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave. A one pass shave would have been fine, but I wanted to use this little vintage boar brush some more. It's a little soft powerhouse or a lathering machine. It performs like a large brush. The results of this shave was a BBS face, without a nick, cut, or weeper. Excellent razor.

Very nice shave this morning. The Razormaster soap made a terrific lather and has a woodsy scent. This is another product I acquired thru trades and deals, and I appreciate everyone I did business with. Anyways, got a smooth shave despite some irritation from the other day. Finished off with Cinawood Boroka, what a beautiful scent, finished off the sample today. It's a shame it's no longer made since this was one of my favorite Chiseled Face scents. Hope everyone had a excellent shave!
