@fishcrow, just make sure that you take enough time with the box to re-sniff the contents. Some of the soaps I didn't like the first night ended up being way more pleasant a few days later, Ghost Town Barber being the most changed to me. The first night, it was close to the bottom and when I opened it up, I hated it. A few days later, I loved it! I pull it off my shelf every day, even if I'm not going to use it, just because I like it so much.

Yep! Just grab one, and make sure to get at least two of the address labels if you're anything like me, I almost always mess the first one up!

Delayed Gratification is a good thing. It's like cheese or wine - you can enjoy it while it's fresh. It's better if you wait and let it age a bit. I only removed one tub, but added several tubs plus many small samples.. It was bulging. I taped all seams of the box. Should someone else just not have room to close it, I'd suggest moving tub hard soaps to ziplock bags. But not the creams.
NO NO NO!! Don't listen to him!!! Leave it on the bottom. It is lousy. you are not going to like it. In fact, I'll take some when it is my turn so there is less there to offend everyone Here's hoping to try it as well !!!
I don't think there's any left... I took the tub and left a healthy sample behind, but if I recall, someone behind me took the rest.
There was some GTB when it passed my way. I did get a sample sized hunk. Very much a Barber shop scent.
Ginger's Garden, Omega #98 Weck Shaper, Personna blade '59 Gillette 195, Feather blade Alum and Avon Oland AS The scent described as "A complex fragrance with citron, bergamot, leather, patchouli, violet, birch, sweet tobacco, amber, cedar, tonka bean and oakmoss." I reminded me of a lighter scented version of Tabac. Face lathered up quickly using a trusted big boar brush for great scented, slick, long lasting lather. Like all Ginger's Garden soaps I've tried - Great Stuff!
I have the AS and it has a great barbershop scent but it's different enough from most to stand out. I am looking forward to trying the soap and if the performance is good, it's top of my list to purchase
Brand X is a sample of a shave cream I added to the box. It's a Non-Vegan Mentholated Peppermint scented Beta Test product. Not available for sale yet. Several TSD members were invited to "test" the product. In the spirit of an unspoken Non-Disclosure Agreement I'll not divulge what I know about the ingredients. If anyone has allergies or sensitivities, I can forward inquiries to the member that worked hard to produce this cream. I found it to be one of the strongest cooling products I've ever used, a slick lather, and it moisturized well.
did barber's quartet remind you of anything?...i LOVE that scent but it smells EXACTLY like something (which I want to see if you picked up on).
