I received a new tub of my favorite soap yesterday (Thanks Kerry) and decided to give it a spin with what is turning out to be one of my favorite razors. What a nice shave! I'm very smooth and feeling good. My wife even commented on how nice I smell. Nice way to start a day

Thank you for the kind words, Clint. I sneak a few minutes just after I out the kids to bed to get my pictures. I really get lucky with how the pics come out, as I don't have much time and realistically don't have near the eye for this stuff that many on here have. The filters help a bunch!

Thank you, Andrew. Your acid trip comment is a little humorous in that I just finished a random drug screen at work. I hope that acid wasn't the source of my picture inspiration!

Thank you, too, Jared! I am confined to my little area of the bathroom to keep my wife from giving the "I can't believe you're taking pictures of shave gear" looks. She is a great sport and puts up with this hobby, but she does find it odd that I take pictures and post them.

My wife thinks it is kind of cool, my son was in utter disbelief that I was posting pictures from "that pile of soap in your bathroom", and my daughter calls it my "nerd kingdom" and says I am the Duke of Dork.

Great photos and thank you for indulging us with the family shots. He is too cute. Lucky man. My daughter is 9 and I still see the infant before me. It was just a blink ago to me. I am sure a second blink and she will be off to college. I will say I miss those years. Just a bit of what's to come, you think you are busy now, just wait. Sports, educations, music, etc. will all take those few precious moments you have. for me, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love being a part of her life. I have been told by those with older girls to enjoy these busy times. Not too soon, you will loose all of it as your child matures and becomes independent.

Boy, how often I wish to go back to those infant days.....

Enjoy every minute. They are few and fleeting.

    Best to your family

LOL, that's some harsh criticism from your daughter.

Posting the SOTD photos on shave forums didn't seem to odd to my wife and girls. On the other hand Twitter seems very odd to them. :happy102:

It is all in fun. My daughter is the biggest smart aleck I have ever met. She gets it from me, so the back and forth between the two of us, if observed by an outsider, would probably be surprising.

My oldest daughter actually likes it, and sometimes on the weekends, she will ask to take a picture herself. It is funny when a 6 year boy says "That's just weird!" But that is what dad's are supposed to do: amuse their kids. Luckily for them, dad provides lots of opportunities to be laughed at.

I think that is what surprised them so much. I have pretty much railed against social media the whole time they were growing up, my wife is the only one who Facebooks, my son does none of it, and my daughter has a twitter acct. They seemed sort of shocked that I was "foruming", and about my grooming.
