I like your attitude. It sounds like you have a special wife as well. My wife and I enjoy bike riding and travel. We will have fun too.
-Henckels 13/16 RP -Simpson Duke 3 Butterscotch -Stirling Island Man Soap and Splash I got the angle dialed in with this blade today, and had a really comfortable shave. I'm still not entirely comfortable with the length of the blade compared to the AC types, but I'm getting a little better with it.
Unfortunately, I don't have first hand experience with the Henckel INOX razors, but everything I have read about them says they are generally well regarded.
Thanks. I really don't know anything about straight razors. Now, the difference between an executive and a fat boy is ...
I'm packing for the trip next week. I'll be ready for the Ides of March. My razor setup. My travel case. Who's still with me?
I'm just training up for the popsicle stick shave. Think I'll sit out the carriage bolt razor. I'll be cheering y'all on! :rah::rah:
I am having company tonight, and I am moving my dad into a new house this weekend, so am going to be super busy. I will resume brush tourney scores after the weekend.
March of the Soaps Focus Ginger's Garden, Omega #98 Weck Shaper, Personna blade '59 Gillette 195, Feather blade Alum and Avon Oland AS Number next in the Soap Parade - Suede Tallow by Ginger's Garden @soapbuddy. This croap base isn't the same as Acqua di Florida via The Shave Shop. Face lathered up quickly using a trusted big boar brush for great scented, slick, long lasting lather. The scent described as "A complex fragrance with citron, bergamot, leather, patchouli violet, birch, sweet tobacco, amber, cedar, tonka bean and oakmoss." Took my WTG pass with the Weck. Switched to the Fat Boy for subsequent passes. Had a set down error on my chin, but not with the shavette. During an east to west clean up swipe my angle was off. Not major & stopped leaking before I got to the alum. A splash of Oland for a fine finish to an enjoyable session. Good Shaves Y'all!
