Too funny!
As luck would have it, Neal's girlfriend is coming back to St. Louis on the same flight and has offered to carry the razor for me. All of this for a bottle of the Veg and a pack of Kool's. What a deal

 

Yeah, but somebody's got to scan that bag before they load it. It might pass muster, but it will cause some confusion.

 

I will have a straight razor packed next to it for the other shaves next week. This could be fun.

 

They will probably put you on a watch list of people who should be denied access to any prison visiting area. You'll be forever known as Brian "The Shiv" Chick.

 

That has a nice ring to it.

 

Shortened down to Chick the Shiv and on the list next to Mac the Knife and Machine Gun Kelly...

I have enjoyed this lineup for the week everything just clicked and worked well together. I like the scent of lumberjack. The fruity top notes over a woody base seem to change just a little with each use. I decided to take my time and enjoy a relaxed Saturday morning 3 pass shave. After minimal touch ups on the neck I managed to catch the baby. Better yet no irritation, nicks or weepers. I finished off with a splash of Fine Platinum. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Now for something completely different. Picked up this razor and brush in a wooden box for $13.00. I don't know anything about them, but if I buy it I use it. The handle on the brush is very heavy and I believe it is brass. The knot is floppy and prickle. I believe it is a black badger. I did end up with a good shave.

 

It's a nice looking set, Doug!

I was looking forward to this shave all evening and night. This razor came in last night (yes I am out of NB17), and I couldn't wait to use it. It didn't disappoint. It was a terrific 3 pass shave for a BBS. It was very smooth and comfortable. The razor definitely has some heft to it, and the TOBS mechanism works so smoothly. It was just a terrific shave. I am really liking the Penhaligon's Bayolea shave soap, which delivered a great lather. The matching soothing gel is also pretty nice and has me smelling great. I hope everyone has a great day!

I was thinking that the washer would qualify as a cap that could be ridden to success.
