Nice looking setup. $13 is a great price, do you plan on re-knotting the handle?

ABC is wonderful soap/cream. A little goes a long way and I love the heavy almond scent. Expensive yes, I bought mine when they had Christmas sale but worth it to me as like MDC, will last a long time.

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20170311_114012(0).jpg

    Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss
    Razor: Gillette ball end tech
    Blade: Gillette Green
    Brush: RazoRock BC Plissoft
    Soap: Steambath Factory- Bloodbath
Post: Peach Thayers WH, Local Gent- Fields & Streams balm

3 pass shave this morning. Was a bit nervous that the Bloodbath soap would burn my face since it has a spicy pumpkin coffee scent. So bowl lathered, just a small dab whipped up a ton of thick lather. Happy to report there was no burning whatsoever. Also have heard people describe this as more of a cream, but the consistancy is similar to other Tiki soaps, could have easily loaded on top of the soap, but wanted to make sure it worked well with my skin first. Got a super smooth BBS but did chase it a bit, luckily no burning or irritation but do have a bit of redness so decided to match the soap with Fields & Streams which also has a coffee type of scent that paired perfectly. Very happy with today's shave results. Hope yall had the same experience or better.

Thanks very much Guy. I'll use the brush for a few shaves and then think about re knotting.

    Sunday morning:

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed Astra day 7
    OSP Grapefruit Menthol SS
    Lucky Tiger AS Cream
Reef Point Fougere Santal AS Splash

This OSP soap reminds me of the MITA in some ways because it lathers very easily and it has a nice citrusy scent. Its menthol effect is about the same as the MITA, give or take. The Lucky Tiger aftershave cream is such a wonderful skin soother and the Santal Fougere splash cools good, not to mention that I love its scent!

Splurged on a set a Beadalon nylon pliers to attended to an offending tooth the SR and remembered the #15 had an issue too. Corrected that and tried it this morning. No blood and no burn so a win in my book!

Today was a weird combination. I couldn't decide which razor to use today so I did one pass with each one. Only guarantee was trying the Stirling Sandalwood soap and finishing with Stirling Gentleman.
First up was the lakeside cutlery Army/Navy SR WTG, then the PAA Flight DOC XTG and finished ATG with the eVahs. Oh what a clean, comfortable bbs experience.

I hadn't heard anything about how long ABC lasts prior to this. I hope you are correct. I am pleased by the fact that it is a croap instead of a cream, which always seems to go too fast.

BTW - is there any way to add the word "croap" to the spelling dictionary?

I looked at my spreadsheet and have used my ABC cream 22 times and still have over 90% left. But then I'm not one that spends 30 seconds or more to load soap\crops or creams. Depending on brush, soap/crop or cream I'm somewhere between 8-15 swirls on the product then over to bowl lathering.
