    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: PAL Adjustable
    Brush: Omega Hi synthetic
Lather: Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic
Post: Witch hazel splash, Stirling Piacenza aftershave
    WTG, WTG, touch-up

Not a close shave. Not sure what went wrong but I'm only barely CCS with two passes and clean-up. Perhaps a bad blade? I know the PAL is loved here by many but I just haven't had good success with it. It's worth another try down the road but I'm not too keen on it at the moment.

Have a great rest of the weekend!

Higher setting for less work and more efficiency? I shave with mine on high Perry. :)

I was on 3 and then changed it to 4 for the second pass. 4 seemed to be a little better. I'm just perplexed as to why the performance was so poor. I changed the blade out when I was done so I'll have a fresh Chick the next time I try it out. I'll stay on 4 or go to High and see what happens.

Razor: Supply Provision Custom 3 dot head
    Blade: Chick
    Brush: That Darn Rob silvertip
    Soap: Stirling Gentleman
    Post Care: Thayers Witch Hazel
    Alum
    Aftershave: Stirling Gentleman

Travel shave today and first use of the Stirling Gentleman, I really like this soap and AS. The usual Stirling easy lathering, slickness and protection with a wonderful scent. The water here is very soft, I'm used to Phoenix hard water but with just a little more load time there was plenty of soap. It was a great way to end the day. Have a great day folks!

Having had 10 V.good shaves with the Japanese Schick in the PAL Injecto-Matic, there was no alternative to using the Adjustable, one of my favourites . Lucky, I have one used some time ago loaded with a Japanese Schick [on 6 ]. Whilst the shave was smooth enough, I think I should have made a few more polishing strokes to equal the quality of the Shaves attained with the Injecto-Matic. Normally with other blades the situation is reversed. Perhaps another Shave with this combo is warranted.

Once again I am floored by a Thoughtful Act of Generousity!!!
As I quoted above, a few days ago I was raving (in my typical fashion) about a WWII Military Issue Razor Set that @wchnu has...I've seen it before and have always really dug it! And by the way, Fuzzy, the handle and case are definitely Bakelite! Anyway, Fuzzy says if he has an extra he would send it to me...I thought he was gifting me the razor and I was "KNOCKED OUT"!!
    BUT I WAS WRONG!!!
He sent the complete set, with:Bakelite Case, Orig. Mailer, Orig. Instructions, Orig. Blades, GEM Jr razor with Bakelite handle and a cake of Colgate Mug Soap and a box of Blue Blades....MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY !!!!

I present to you this beautiful kit, check it out!

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

I wasted no time logging in some sink time with this beauty! I believe this is my favorite of a favorite...I have long been a devout lover of the 1912...and I also love light weight razors...Well with the GEM Jr. head matched to the Bakelite handle, this is the lightest most manueverable 1912 I know of...The head is perfect in the mild/aggressive spectrum...Not to mention it comes in this super cool travel package...

I LOVE THIS 1912!!! CAN'T RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT IT!!! It's PERFECT IN EVER WAY!!

Fuzzy..:smiley respect:, :happy096:......Thanks Man! This is going to be my "Go To" and "Travel Kit"
