In the 30s. This guy (gal?) fell off the screen door this morning when I opened it, and just laid there.



Stuck him/her out on a tree in the sun, but did not want to get off my hand.

 

63 and cloudy in Baton Rouge. Looking for thunder storms later.

 

It's so bitterly-cold here in Montreal that it's comparable to January. We're sitting at -16 Celsius.

With snow in the offing, higher-higher here at work is like...

 

The forecasts have been all over the place with this one. We are expecting anywhere from 12" - 25" (3-6 dm) of snow expected over the next 36 hours.



I am firmly in the A region and have a brisket curing. I will be smoking some pastrami tomorrow.

Area B: Snow accumulations of 8-12″ are expected within this area. Widespread power outages are possible.

Area C: Snow accumulations of 5-8″ are expected within this area. Scattered power outages are possible.

Area D: Snow accumulations of 3-5″ are expected within this area.

Area E: Snow accumulations of 1-3″ are expected within this area.

 

Thats because as a reptile it is ectothermic. Reptiles cannot regulate their body temperature like mammals do. They take on the temperature of the surrounding environment. Your hand was a welcomed source of heat.

 

I'm in the path of the snowstorm too, I think they are calling for 6-12" in my area.

We had snow covering the ground yesterday when we got up, but by the afternoon it was all gone. Right now it is 40 and clear. We are expecting rain and freezing tonight though.

 

I worked outside under the carport until it started to get too cold, and it started to sprinkle. I had to come in.

That also means no shave, which means a nice close shave Wednesday!

 

86 dry degrees would be heavenly. We're expecting more snow. (dammit!)

 

High 30's today. A week from today we are expecting to hit almost 90.
