My 1941 Russian from the ZTV factory may be my favorite razor. As I've said before, it has a unique feel to it and seems to just have the right everything - balance, size, reduction, weight, feel... I brought it out again today and was reminded of all the reasons I like it so much. :happy036:

    Hot water preparation
    AOS Lavender PSO
    Haslinger Schafmilch Shave Soap
    Savile Row 3824 Silvertip
    1941 ZTV 5/8
    Osma Bloc d'Alun
    AOS Lavender After Shave Balm

    Happy shaving everyone - Karl

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Cella
    Jayaruh #145
    Hydro-Magic, Schick L
    Ted Pella Injector
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Pinaud Clubman AS

The Cella Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #145 synthetic brush. I did two passes the Hydro-Magic, Schick L and Ted Pella Injector blade, I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Razor: Trac II
Blade: Col. Conk Trac II (4)
Brush: Brass handle w/ Black Badger?
    Soap: Captain's Choice Sandalwood
    Aftershave: Captain's Choice Sandalwood

The brush is not living up to my standards. Losing a lot of hair, now I can live with a brush being a little floppy, or a little prickly, but I can't stand a brush that loses hair.
Lots of Wild Turkey's in the yard today.

Hmmmmmm, I noticed that the Gladjakkers is a soap, not a cream. How long has it been around?

I trust you find, as I do, that the Stirling Barbershop soap works great with Mr. Pinaud.

    Razor: Okina 翁 KJKMA 5/8.
    Brush: VieLong Horse
    Lather: Proraso Blue
    AS: Nivea

It seem the Blue doesn't get a lot of love, but the pony laid down a great slick protective layer of lather that set me up for a close comfortable shave with a scalpel sharp Japanese blade.
PS: @Robyflexx , the dark side is calling :D

Opposite's true my friend. That's the JETS D racking your QB. I'm from Central NJ. But I feel your pain as far as the weather goes. We took a pretty good shot(about 6 inches worth) that could have been worse. And it was wet and heavy.
