Did not tighten the doors on the razor for the first pass and did get some blood on my neck. Wife thought I would bleed to death (I'm taking coumadin) but I reassured her that would not happen. Once I got the razor doors closed tightly the rest of the shave went great. Smooth and very enjoyable because I was using my birth year razor, my favorite SCS cream and of course a great sharp blade.
