Tonight's shave was with a wonderful razor, that I love to shave with. I had a super smooth 2 pass shave, that I don't thing could have gone better. I had a DBS shave, with zero issues. Razor- J.A.Henckels 74. Spike tip Brush- B400 By Tom Soap- Stirling Barbershop Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman
That Stirling barbershop is fantastic soap. Of course clubman is as "barbershop " as it gets. Thanks for making my choice for tomorrow's shave
Verinder St Pauls Very nice shave on my newly honed straight. These near wedges are so quiet compared to hollows. Once I found the angle after a few short strokes, smooth sailing. I will be keeping this one. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Silverloaf kamisori This wide 17/16 blade and a thick grind. It does not make a noise but it is very sharp.
Tonight's shave was with a razor I've not paid much attention to. Now I know why. It has a baby frown on the heel end. It's not pretty, But it gave a fantastic 2 pass shave, with DFS results. Razor- Dorko Super Extra Brush- Omega Boar Soap- Stirling Barbershop Aftershave- Florida Water
Soft goods, Stirling barbershop soap and Clubman aftershave; inspiration from @DaltonGang Really nice two pass shave ending with a pretty good finish, from my Challenge Cutlery str8.
Awesome combo. I like the rustic look of the razor. Straights were meant for shaving with. I enjoys using my seasoned looking one's more than the ones that look NOS. More character.
Beautiful razor! You don't even see customs coming out that come close to the scales on some of these vintage pieces. You sure have a knack of bringing back the beauty of these old gems
This particular beauty was one of the rare NOS razors I managed to acquire: factory edge; still wrapped in the original brown paper.
If my 1941 Russian is possibly my favorite, this 1970s Russian from the STIZ factory is a close second. Wonderfully sharp but smooth, it left me with another face-rubbing goodness shave this morning.
