  1. Brian, sounds like a fun day! Is your daughter's boyfriend interested in DE or straight shaving? If not, it might be kinda fun to get him started. I'd also show him your nut and bolt shaver...a little healthy fear of Dad is always a good thing. :happy102:

  2. The part that I hate is the not being in control-we fix something and don't know how it happened.

  3. Wasn't there a recent Tweet about the Simpson's factory being wiretapped? Oh, wait a minute... :signs002:

  5. Pretty close on the wife's. She's a nurse, so she works way harder than a welder.

My son took this one of me around 10:30 this morning:

  6. No, but I thought it was pretty cool. It reminds me of my Bride's favorite WWII poster, Rosie the Riveter:

  7. I spoke to soon...I thought that was YOUR wife. I should read before lookin' at the pictures.
  8. Jade for me. The Butterscotch is a close runner-up. :happy088:

I had a tough time deciding between a Duke 3 and the Chubby 2 that I recently purchased. The Duke 3's smaller size may actually make it a better 'everyday' brush.

  9. I'll be very happy when Spring arrives.
  10. ...yet. ;)
  11. Paul, I'm glad you gave the Slim a whirl. Now you know what it's like. Who knows? You may decide to try it again in a few months and find it to work well for you! And if not, it still looks cool sitting on your shave shelf. :happy088:
  12. Doug generally maintains a higher level of focus than the average person.

  13. Thank you Charlie.
  14. Some things just can't be "fixed".
  15. Glad you got a good shave out of the 1914. You might have noticed, but I think pretty highly of them. I hope the shims work well in the 1924 also!
  16. Thank you, Charlie! I love the Old Spice mugs; this is one I will use for soap. I have a Hull Pottery mug that is purely for decoration. I'll break it out for a picture soon, as it has sat hidden for too long.
  17. Good suggestions; this soap may be headed down that path.
  18. I agree, the Jade is tops for me closely followed by the butter scotch.
