Yes it is. It is a sneaky cold, though. Osage Rub hits you right in the face (or wherever else you may accidentally apply it) with the cold. So does a Stirling Glacial AS, but Artique starts out fairly benign. Then a few minutes later, your eyes are watering and face is numb from the cold.
I use the Feather carts and get 3 or 4. I have not used a Trac II recently. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-Tula 5/8 SP -Simpson Commodore X3 -Soap Commander Passion -Stirling Gin and Tonic Straight razor maintenance school continues. I ran the razor over some 1 micron lapping film for 50 laps. I saw a guy on You Tube, (Slash McCoy from B&B) stick a piece of wet paper to a base, then put the film on that. This was something FergieBilly (I think) also recommended. Wow, did this tune that edge up tight. Best shave I have had yet with one of these. What a cheap and easy way for a newbie to finish or refresh. In retrospect, and maybe I always jump in a little too far too fast, but I am pretty glad I put in all these shaves with the Irving Barber and Kais before I started this. There is a ton of stuff to keep track of/learn just with the razor upkeep and honing, I'm glad I don't have to think about the shaving part, and can just enjoy that. It gives me a newfound respect for you guys that do it all at once.
Razor: Ever-Ready SE original instructions Blade: GEM Personna (2) Brush: Shavemac ATG LE The Nisky Silvertip Fan Soap: RazoRock XXX Aftershave: RazoRock XXX This brush handle is beautifully constructed to be ergonomically perfect. It fits the my hand and the accompanying Shavemac Silvertip Fan completes the deal. The soap doesn't have a chance. The brush produces a thick creamy lather just the way I like it. I don't know if it would be possible to make a better brush. One satisfied customer!
Great picture Doug. I'm so happy the brush arrived safely. It looks better in your photos. The razor looks nearly mint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks so much Clint. I was getting a little worried about the arrival of the ATG LE brushes. The Nisky was well worth the wait. It's a great brush. I love this knot even after only one use.
Oh, yeah. The Turbo Encabulator. I think you can get retrofit kits at KaleCoAuto. Don't forget to purchase a Hi-Performance 710 cap.
