A couple of years ago we bought a new mattress, you know those foam ones that come in a box. We both love it. But we continued to use our old frame and box spring. Yesterday I bought a new metal frame, it doesn't require a box spring and it came in a box, heck I didn't even need a tool. Kinda like a folding table. So.. I must say that I had a fantastic night of sleep. :rah:
I bought it from Walmart.com only because my Walmart was out of stock. You can find lots on eBay with free shipping, I paid $114.00 free shipping. This base is STRONG! 2400lb weight limit. It does not move at all The mattress we bought from Walmart also, that was delivered. What a trip it is when you buy a king size bed and it's in a smaller box.
My day will begin with a trip to my car mechanic for a brake fluid check(the warning is flashing across my dashboard). Strange, as my fluids were topped off not long ago as part of the oil-change service. Then to get some new clothes in a smaller-size(YAY, I'm losing wait!!!).
I made a pleasant discovery this morning. A year and a half after the knee replacement, my right knee is now just about as strong as the left and I was not struggling t extend it, as I went up the stairs.
I met with my surgeon yesterday and he didn't say it was the complication that I thought it was. Talk about a sigh of relief! He simply told me to rest lots, keep an eye on the issue and to see him in a week! Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I don't post too often in this thread, but when I my day starts like this, it is hard not to. I had a couple of visitors in with me during my morning shave.
My kids are all grown and I miss days like this. They are pretty special. My first grandson is on the way and days like this will happen again. Thank you for sharing this precious picture! You made my day.
