March Madness & Spring Cleaning!! March 24 Razor -Feather SS Blade - (4) Soap - Soap Commander Courage Brush - BoS Omega 10060 Post - Alum Three in a row for the Feather SS and the first two were nice and nicer. Will this one be the nicest? The lather was good and slick, everything looked good and ready to go and........yep, another very nice DFS from this razor and the Pro blade. Again I hesitate to mention that I feel like it was an automatic process tonight. Never had to hunt for hand position, grip, nothing. I'm more nervous by the shave with it going this well but able to shut it off and just shave when I get there. One change in technique that I did try again tonight, and first tried last night, was the direction on my left neck on the second pass. Instead of going true XTG from ear to throat I went instead on a diagonal run from chin toward the back of the neck. Then my next strokes came ear to throat on a diagonal. And...both nights no need for anymore touchup on what is normally a trouble spot for me. Now to try it with a DE and see if I can replicate it. If so, there's a trouble spot from the very beginning that is finally solved. Hope you have a great weekend. I'll be holding down the fort at work so you don't have to!

Sat 25th March RazoRock Syn. 24mm Speick Active Hawk SE with Handle ex EJ89 Schick Proline P-20 [ 1 ] Alum Rub/Rinse off Tuff Green A/S lotion My first outing with a Hawk. Like others, I have found that Razors with light aluminium heads work better for me with a heftier handle than the one supplied. I increased the weight moderately by using an old EJ89 Handle [ broke the head ].Was not sure what to expect from the Hawk, which has had mixed reviews. I am lucky in that I have only a small amount of soaps , most of them provide good slickness and cushion and help protect you from poor razor/blade combinations on initial strokes. Todays choice was the Speick, and the first tentative strokes were smooth and easy. During the full Shave, I found the razor very easy to use in all areas, so must have been a good blade choice, as I ended up with a more than satisfactory shave all round. Will have a few more Shaves, but reckon this budget SE [ apart from Custom/RM fees] would make a good introductory SE Razor for newcomers, who may not want to tread the Vintage Trail.
Sat. 3/25/17 Excellent shave with the Gillette Mach 3 Disposable this morning. Three passes for a dolphin smooth and refreshing finish. Enjoy your day friends.
I had to say goodbye to my Tryphon Permafrost stick after this final wonderful lather and freeze it gave me. The Snake Bite clobbered me with its own potent menthol shot. BBS in 2 easy passes!

After Shave: Pinaud VIBR Probably won't keep clogging up the server with pics until I get something new. Waiting on a couple new soaps from the Shave Den shop. Then I'll have some different stuff to display.
I had my SOTD planned out for today, and then I checked my package tracking app and saw that my new Supply Co injector was arriving today. Well. I'll wait until the post lady comes.
