I guess this seller saw the Bostonian set that sold for $228 recently and thought, "What the heck". Problem is, this razor looks like crap -- and it has a bent tooth. Whatever. CLICK ME
I love when people throw up a million pictures of a cruddy looking thing they're trying to auction off for too much money. I prefer my auction style; KISS. Pertinent, easy to read info only and one or two GOOD pictures.
I do like auctions that have pictures of the whole razor though. I won't bid as high on a razor if I don't know if the plating is worn off the head or not, so I understand multiple pictures, but at the same time, several pictures showing the same things is overkill. Well, the listing price is thrown away anyway, as I assume nobody will pay that, might as well throw in some images too.
That is probably the second worst big time seller of razors on ebay next to reynoldsart. I won't buy from either. Over priced, over described razors. Glasgowgoodies has some cloudy pics too that are deceiving.
No doubt, but I wasn't talking razors exclusively. I only include one or two pics of razors because I can put up more pics in the TSD Auctions forum, if I'm listing for the forum. And there's always a link to the thread at TSD in those auctions. I only sell razors for the forum. I haven't done any of my own auctions in a long, long time, but I kept it simple and pertinent when I did.
the proper lighting.... a little vaseline on the lenses.... a little airbrushing.... before long there it is! RAD porn!
