I would still recommend that you continue with working on technique for a bit longer, as I think it really helps to have this nailed down before getting a bunch of new equipment. I realize I made this mistake early on and wish I had been a bit more patient. Having said that, of you still want to look at something more aggressive, I think Jared's suggestion with an R41 head is pretty good. The Merkur Futur is also an option that you can find for $60 or so. A bit cheaper than the Rockwell 6S. When cranked up, it is definitely aggressive.

I am with Jim on this one. I would suggest not buying anything new until you have your technique down. If I recall correctly you started on or around February 1st. During that time you've used different brushes, creams, soaps, blades and razors. It is really hard to develop the skills and techniques with everything changing around. My suggestion would be do a hard 30 day rule. Pick one razor, one blade, one brush and one soap and use that lineup for the month. I would further suggest tossing the blade after 3 shaves to eliminate blade wear as a variable. I realize this approach is boring but it will pay dividends if you stick with it. If not you will make the learning process longer and more difficult. When you technique is solid you'll be able to use most any razor and achieve good results.
There is only one Fatip OC head, highly recommended. Handle mass is the selectable option. And you're right! Very aggressive geometry, smooth as silk if you know the angles. My fave three piece razor, bar none. Edited to reflect @Linuxguile corrected info. Thanks Andrew.
We are having a little bit of fussiness due to excess gas, but we are hoping that a change in formula will help relieve his discomfort. Other then that he is quite well, thank you for asking Jim!
Actually, there are two. Fatip also has a closed comb head that is sold on the Testina Gentile razors.
Gasiness has been a problem for several of our kids, too. We had to resort to some of the infant gas drops, which did seem to help. Hope it gets better, I know it isn't fun when they are fussy.
I'll third the advice. All of these razors will be available just as they are now. Do a Rule and you'll be in much better position to judge what actually is and isn't working when it comes to gear. Technique trumps tools! There's a reason I can pick up any non-defective DE razor and produce a high quality shave. And it has nothing to do with the razor itself. It's all about technique, and the sooner you nail it to the wall the better!

Smooth two pass before heading back to my prairie home. Only 18 hours since last shave...techniques win the day again. Other than that...all is quiet in Waikoloa. Have a magnificent Monday evening!
