I tried my Sharp Dressed Man aftershave this morning for the first time, the scent was great but it only lasted about 30 minutes. I usually get 12 hours of my Stirling aftershaves. Does anyone else have this issue with this scent?

When this scent was out before, I remember being somewhat "meh" about it. I must have been out of my gourd, cause this stuff is fantastic. Vetiver and lemongrass, earthy but with a light almost citrusy balance to it, and in sheep fat. This may be the best soap I have tried since Electric Sheep. I originally ordered a sample puck, but after one use, I knew that was a mistake and ordered a tub. If I get the happy eyes from my wife a bottle of splash is soon to follow, cause I LOVE this stuff.

Rod is REALLY bringing it home with this mutton tallow line. All of these scents are big and bold, a couple maybe a bit polarizing to some, but fortunately for me I love every one of them, and I have never tried a better performing soap.

Is the scent still similar to the original? I have a puck of the original, and at first wasn't thrilled, but I have come to really like it.

I have enough in a sample bottle for one more shave, and a full size plus menthol, and I can still smell both for at least 12 hours after application. Maybe you got a dud?

That is what I was afraid of. I'm going to give it another shot tonight after my shower. Thanks for the info

I had a look at Meeter from the Stoylin website. I'm sure it's nice and chilly, but I can't picture myself smelling like a margarita.

I find that the soap rinses away, and leaves just a hint of lime behind. I'm planning on getting a sample of the AS with my next order.
