    Honestly, still learning simple tricks... But love your take on stuff like this. Will take phone up, listen, and play with fretboard.

    I've been messing around with three string octave chords, like on guitar (I,V, octave I), and been getting some pretty cool arpeggio sounds moving along the neck in a I,IV,V pop music kind of way.

    You're showing some great listening power there. Those are some of the stronger notes you'd use to build a bass line. Try experimenting with the "blues scale" or mixolydian, essentially the major scale with a flat 7th. For now most bass lines are gonna be single notes as opposed to chords, but that's a rule worth breaking:D.
    And at last, a blues song that's fairly "entry level". Try it out.
