That would be the reference, yes.

 

I might have to give the Port au Prince a try, it sounds great.

 

Here are the Stirling soaps I plan to buy eventually.

Besides the Glacials and other mentholated offerings:

Sharp Dressed Man
Ozark Mountain
Bay Rum
Barbershop (a repeat buy)

I'm thinking of:

Port au Prince
Electric Sheep
Island Man

 

With a 5.8 oz. large size puck, Doc Ezlovan wants to be sure you'll have it around for a loooooong time. For a seasonal shaver like me, it could last 3 cold-weather years.

 

I've already gone through several 5.8 oz tubs of these brilliant soaps.

 

Why is electric sheep out?

What does it smell like?

 

Perry got a sample of it and about had to call in a hazmat team to get it out.

It is very a strong citonella scent. I believe you will either love it or hate it. I am in the love camp.

Edit - It was my all time favorite soap. I think the Port au Prince may have displaced it.

 

I tried it once a while back, and thought I remember not caring for it. I must have been huffing gas cans in the shed or something, because I love the stuff. I tried the sample puck once, and off to the website I went to order a tub. I now have approval from my wife to buy a bottle aftershave, and I think I can even wear it in the house?

 

Island man is nice. Definitely a summer scent. I got a sample in a trade in the winter but haven't used it yet. But I do find myself opening the tin and smelling it often. It's very nice.

 

Honestly I'm not that crazy about gentlemen... it's okay. I think it's the vanilla and musk that kinda do it for me. I prob would not rank it a top 5 stirling scent for me.

 

I think I have only ever finished a couple. It is hard when you have a couple dozen of them open at once. I will finish a couple/few of them up this year tho.

 

As Jared said I got a sample of the bath soap as a free gift in an order. The entire package smelled like citronella. That stuff is STRONG! I know there are fans of it, like Jared. @Robyflexx likes Electric Sheep, too.

 

As Perry said it's super strong and bold. You'd better like citronella or else!

 

My wife got me a sample puck of Electric Sheep for Christmas. I couldn't even unwrap it, the smell was so strong. To me, it smells exactly like the mosquito candles that come in the metal pail... I triple bagged it and put it in the Soap Box Pass.

 

OK, so I might get to try it if it is still there.

If someone doesn't tie a string around it and hang it on their porch far bug repellant. Maybe because I spend so much time sitting around citronella candles, I enjoy the similarity.

 

That would be fine. I am sure the box still smells like it so I can get an idea from that if I like it or not!!

 

Let's see now - which one should I use on Thursday? Glacial Obsidian? Or perhaps Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo?
