Several of us are getting into the spirit of MAYhem (the month during which we try shaving with questionable equipment or technique) by trying out the disposable straight razors Brian found on Ebay. If you want in, PM me with your address and when I receive them from Thailand I'll send you one. All that's required is to use it on the day in May we decide on and report to the 30 day thread with your results.
At least you didn't have a crack head start a fire that caused Interstate 85 to collapse. Traffic here is always bad but now it is just horrible.
How long is it taking you to get to work now compared to before the fire? Around here we burn crackheads.
That looked ugly. How long are they guessing before they have that section of highway repaired?, (And yes, I know it is the government, so you can expect on it actually happening in about double the time that they estimate.)
I am lucky that I don't have to drive downtown each day. This week was spring break with all the schools closed so the morning commute has not been bad for me. That will change on Monday. However, all the other interstates are crowded all the time so in the end it impacts the entire city. They indicated it would be repaired by June 15th. I hope so but I am not sure I would bet on it being done by then.
Don't worry this will be a piece of cake. If you want to up the ante, you can join us on the 5th of July, or as we call it Cinco de Julio, for a popcicle stick shave. Just staple a DE blade between to popcicle sticks and shave away. Here's my entry from last year. I actually saved it and I'm going to usu it for a second time this July. You can only get tetanus if you break the skin, right?
Sounds like a pile of them stacked up on the ice would make a good fire to stand around next to and drink beer. Every time you hear a pop you pass the brandy bottle around. We tried that with meth heads but they burn too fast and smoke too much. Kind of like a tire fire. A crackhead fire sounds more like dried pine.
