Crazy question. If it needs humidity and it was put in use several times sitting in a shower and bathroom that is used daily, why did it not cure? Also, this is Long Island. All we have is humidity . Could have been old but I am sure Jim uses it quick enough for that to not be the issue. I am sure the silicone doesn't get a chance to even sit on the shelf since he is making brushes better than a factory. I am not sure. I will see if I can find that silicone. DAP is good stuff but the ones I saw from them in the local big box store were mostly the water soluble probably latex based stuff and I wasn't going to use that. I have used them around the house and they do dry waterproof. I just did not wish to use it in this application. I will go with all of your and Jim's advice. We are emailing and I am sure Dark Chocolate will be back in the rotation some time next week .
Razor: Supply Provision Custom 3 dot head Blade: Chick Brush: That Darn Rob silvertip Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Turkish Bath Post Care: Thayers Witch Hazel Alum Osage Rub Aftershave: Stirling Barbershop Excellent shave this morning, three easy passes for a BBS shave. I used a sample of the Turkish Bath, excellent product. It was slick, easy to lather and offered good protection. It matched up perfectly with the Stirling Barbershop aftershave. Have a great day folks!
