    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick E2 injector
    Brush: JR #60 synthetic
Lather: Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber
Post: Witch hazel splash, Ghost Town Barber aftershave
    WTG, touch-up

First use of the E2 injector. The first pass was a little rough. A new blade was already in there but I put in yet another new blade after the first pass and it smoothed out. Either a bad blade or it ran across the stops on insertion. Either way the touch-up pass was much smoother. I agree with others that the E injector feels more aggressive than the other Schick models. Good lather and nice feel from the splash. Good shave in the end.

    Have a great day!

I think my 1910 Gem Junior bar is the loudest. The 1915 star is loud too.

Excellent shave this morning, this was my first time using a Dr Jon's soap and I was not disappointed. Very easy to lather, slick and with good protection. You take all that and factor in this wonderful scent, it's a keeper. It's been 4+ hours since I shaved and the AS is still going strong; wonderful vanilla scent with a spicy sandalwood background. It's one of my favorites. Have a great day folks!

Hehe yes. But unfortunately the 1914 is the trickiest to hack, definitely requiring an adapter, with a simple shim an injector blade still wants to float, there's simple inadequate compression to keep the blade secure.

-Love My Skin Beau Brummel Cybilla Soap

My second shave with the Auto-Strop and it seems like I have gotten better on how to use it properly. Kept the head flat against my face, except for beneath the sideburns and goatee for a good trim job, and had a really great shave with it. It rivals the shaves I get with my Gems, well it is the same blade. Two passes with some touch up and it produced a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave.

The VC1 is the only one capable of using de-splined SE blades, while Feather makes blades that will fit all models.

Could be a bit too efficient for some but certainly copes well with my heavy growth, which requires a Daily Shave. Noticeable was the reduced amount of regrowth from yesterdays Shave with The General.

Have you driven a 1914 yet? Everyone needs to have a go with the little lather catcher.
