Tonight's shave was with a trusted, excellent shaving razor. It's the first straight that gave me a very deep slice. The name is fitting, "Respect". Tonight, it bit again. I was a little distracted, and wasn't watching the point. I didn't even feel it. Dang this thing is sharp. I finished a two pass shave, with a small river of blood coming down my cheek. It was very festive lather. In the end, I had a BBS shave. It stopped bleeding before the second pass.

Razor- "Respect" Made in Germany, Best Silver Steel.

After some extended bonding time with a lovely Schick E1 while traveling I am back with my straights. The 1941 Russian was calling me. Da Comrades, The Motherland embraces those who embrace her. That Russkie is just an awesome razor. It feels like a butter knife but it's sharp as hell. I found out the hard way when I lost concentration and somehow put a nice small cut on my chin. I guess my blood runs red, The Motherland would have been proud. :happy102:

Other than that, it was a fine, fine shave and nice way to return to the dark side. :happy036:

Tonight's shave was with another "A List" razor. I had a 2 pass shave that went smooth and flawless. No issues, and an almost BBS finish. Excellent razor.
