Tonight's shave was with a "Top Shelf" razor of mine. The name doesn't conjure up any great history, or fame, but it is a wonderfully sharp, and smooth shaving razor. I had a perfect 2 pass shave, with no touch ups, not even around the chin. Awesome razor. I Highly recommend one of these. Razor- Leo C. Benitz "Sensation". Made in Germany. Brush- Semogue 1305 Boar Soap- ARKO/Avon Spicy scented Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy
Challenge Cutlery a great shaver that is very well mannered, cuz the spike has never bit me Always a smooth, close shave with this one.
today i used my Case Temperite. a fantastic shaver it is.most days i reaches for one of my U.S blades. think these are in a class of their own.
I have a Case Temperite that I've been using for the past year and they are great razors. The translucent scales on your razor are beautiful.
It was a very nice shave this morning with my AW Wadsworth "Boss". I find that is is a "talkative" blade, with lots of audible feedback. 2 passes later I had an almost BBS shave.
I have a ding in the handle of my 1305 brush in about the same place as yours. My 1305 is my favorite brush
I dropped the brush one morning and the fall onto the bathroom tiles chipped off the paint right down to the wood on the handle. It's probably my favorite brush too and I have been thinking of picking up a "spare".
Tonight's shave was with another "Top Shelf Razor". It is a deceptively sharp, and smooth near wedge. A Union Cutlery "Gold Spike". 2 pass BBS shave, without touchups, and no issues. Excellent Razor. To be honest, I bought it because of the scales. The blade was so rusty that I thought it was toast. It cleaned up well enough for me. Razor- Union Cutlery "Gold Spike" Brush- B400 By Tom Soap- ARKO/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman
