Ripper Owens era Judas Priest gets a bad wrap. The two albums he recorded with them are very strong, especially Demolition. Rob Halford is a legend and his work with Priest cannot be denied but in my heavy metal opinion, Ripper annihilates him on vocals. I've seen both vocalists several times and it's not even close !!!
The era in the late seventies when funk and disco gave rise to hip-hop was truly awesome, another blast from the skating rink!
Forgive my spamming of this thread. My wife is out for a "girl's night," so I'm indulging in some awesome tunes tonight, after a long work week.
