Well we have always said it's un-hijackable. We're testing the limits.

 

I have heard of it happening. It's possible, what with Neal being the worlds only Scottish Czar, that there will be a lot of whiskey and vodka. I'm not sure where he stands on Guinness and Harp.

 

In honor of your heritage I thought you might appreciate this bit of questioning of the whole Easter Bunny thing.

 

Actually I'm Irish. But......that just means any kind of alcoholic libation is perfectly acceptable. Irish whisky, Russian vodka, Guiness (mother's milk) and Harp all have total approval here.

 

Ah the kilt thing threw me off. I know they wore them in Ireland as well, but we never really embraced them as much as the Scots. Much too drafty. Oh well. It's nice to know there will be proper libations at the BBQ. And as for the above video, just imagine a brogue instead of a burr.

 

I don't know where the thread is going, but it is sure easy for Neal to suggest catching a bunny that knows it's going to get shaved. It was hard enough to get it to sit still for the photo.

 

I'm Scottish, and I really think the young lady had a number of legitimate questions, but I'm still more confused why anyone would have music and BBQ without beer.

 

It's all good. Actually the Irish wore tunics but - we adopted the kilts in the past couple hundred years or so because our legs are sexier than Scots. The tartan in mine is County Kerry, Ireland tartan. And yes, totally proper libations and I'll wear the kilt. I don't mind the draft. As long as nobody is too shocked if the wind picks up.

I liked the answer one grizzled sergeant from a Scottish regiment gave when asked the age-old question:

"So, what's worn under the kilt?"

"Nothing. It's all in verra verra good condition."

 

There would have been less bad golf played here today if it did snow... ... and then I saw all the golf analogy posts in this thread...

 

I always think of it like this. I didn't hit the ball too far away from the hole; they put the hole too far away from where I hit my ball. I think this a lot.

April 16, 2017....

No Resurrection here. Went and watched the Blues take a 3-0 series lead over the Wild which was nice, wasn't ready for dinner so decided to go ahead and take a shower and shave. And today's shaved sucked.

It was on me though. I just crossed a line and should have stopped, but continued taking the razor to my face to get it over with. A C- shave, several nicks and minor weepers but nothing that didn't heal up. I skipped the alum since I didn't need it to tell me what I already knew. I had some shine to the Stirling, but it kept getting this tackiness to it. I was also on the 7th use of the blade, and so it might be time to eject that one and inject a new one. Oh well. Tomorrow brings a new shave.
