I was wondering if some of you guys(besides Jeff) use your menthols all year round? Jeff I could imagine you do !!!
It's funny how people always refer to Tabac as smelling like Grandma's purse. For me Glacial spearmint sounds like Grandma's purse. Two things you could always count on being in there: white mint Lifesavers and Wrigley's spearmint gum. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
lol My wife tells me I smell like an old Russian or Polish man whenever I shave with the Tabac soap or whenever I wear the aftershave. I've told her Tabac is German, not Russian or Polish. She says "You still smell like an old man!" I find with the Glacial Spearmint the scent is so invigorating and perfect for any age if that guy can handle that level of intense menthol.
I'm looking for some Artic Black Maraschino Cherry. That would be a really cool unique scent. I'm not holding my breath though. LOL
I use it year round, but it tapers off drastically after Thanksgiving. It also depends on how much my work has me outdoors. When I am bone frozen after being outside in sub zero, menthol is not on my wish list. When I do use them, it is seldom Glacials, just Iced scents.
lolllllll I'd be out of the Glacials in record time if I used them every day so that's why I use my other mentholated and non-mentholated soaps and creams as well. However, menthol is ALWAYS on my wish list and hopefully I'll place a big order for the Glacials when they come back. And I mean a BIG order!
Rod, <sarcasm to follow> Oh how I hate you!!! </sarcasm ended> I have the soap pass around box and all I know is that your stuff really stands out on top. Every scent you put in the box, even the ones with tobacco (and I am not a fan of tobacco) I love. EVERYTHING!!! I just got through trying the Glacial Wintergreen and Orange Chill. I do wish you made an orange or lime Glacial since I just love that Sunday was 82 deg and my face was in the arctic! Orange chill was really nice and I love the scent as well. Loved them. I used a little more than I would normally and got perfect shiny lather. I mean PERFECT!!! Stuff for the magazines. Thick, creamy, slick and all around just beautiful. I will definitely be buying stuff this week. Between the ones I love from the first 9 samples I tried, and I now love them all. Even Tuscany was a bit floral/fruity I now come to desire. Tuscany and Piacenza are nice breaks from the plethora of cologne type scents that I ordered. Now, I have to add Sandpiper , all the menthol ones Gentleman and Arkadia. This is just not fair. Rod, thank you, your wife and team for making such wonderful stuff and donating the samples to the pass around box. Yes, I will be checking the website several times a day for when the menthol line will be released. Not sure if you will disclose the list or not but is this everything you make with menthol? Black Ice Gin and Tonic on the rocks Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo Glacial Lemon Chill Glacial Obsidian Glacial Spearmint Glacial Wintergreen Iced Pineapple Margaritas in the Artic Orange Chill Did I miss any or any new ones you wish to temp us with? A deep sincere thank you. Sincerely, Frank
Glacial gang, Do any of you have both Wintergreen and Spearmint? Do you prefer one over the other? Which? I am now a part of the menthol brotherhood.
I do, I do! To tell you the truth I love them both equally! Welcome to the menthol brotherhood, dear sir!
Frank, I never heard of Gin and Tonic on the Rocks and I have yet to try Orange Chill or Iced Pineapple. I definitely must say that I'm crazy in love with the other ones you listed!
The Gin and Tonic on the Rocks is a potential release. I think it would be fantastic, as I often M-Bomb mine already. Boy I hope Pineapple makes a comeback. I want some splash.
Thanks for the info, my man! I see Black Ice is not there. I hope it comes back as well because it's awesome. It's the forerunner of the Glacial Obsidian. What I mean by that is, Rod wanted to create a version of Black Ice which had the anise scent and more than 3 times the amount of menthol and when he created this Glacial Obsidian he commented on it like this: "Basically it's like Black Ice on steroids!" His description is bang-on accurate!
