Two donor brushes came in. The Omega 98 knot went in the Jayaruh #160. The Omega 48 is destined for a ferrule that @twhite is making for me for my Bunny B400. IMG_3508.JPG

This Schick looked nice and shiny, so had to have it!
Only know what Mr Waites has to say, namely: Golden'500' from around 1962.

    Hunting during some downtime today....

Is this little guy legit? Looks like someone swapped a handle, lady said it was marketed to women... funny I thought longer handles were for women.[IMG]

Yes the little one is a Travel Tech Gillette. It was sold in a set through the 50's to the 70's. The one with the stars is a Lady's Gillette.

Looks like a travel Tech to me. They usually came in a little pouch. I had a hard time looking away from the straights to see it

I think the confusion about it being a lady's razor stems from the fact that, prior to the 1960's, ladies razors did usually have shorter handles. This produced some interesting designs such as the Gillette Milady razors.

An unexpected antique shop score on Saturday in Woodstock, Ontario. Cleaned them out of Old Spice mugs. Not pictured is a mug which my friend also bought, and one of these is also going to a coworker. Nice to find one of the old handpainted mugs for the collection. That brings my OS mug collection to six. Now to find a cobalt mug...

Excellent stuff. My wife bought that for me at Christmas after smelling it in a store. She calls it "The Danger"...I think she likes it.

    Cool haul!
Nice mild Tech Gillette. I have 2 or 3 of them; great for traveling. What's the date code?
Gillette Black Beauty, that'll clean up nice. What's the date code?
Looks like a pretty red Made Rite. Are you going to re-knot or use it as is? Looks nearly unused.

I was actually going to ask about tue brush. Its not shedding, and very soft. Knot still seems very secure but initially i was considering redoing it.

The tech Im not sure why I grabbed it but it looked brand new which is prob why I did. Its a G2

Thr adjustable everything seemed to be loosely stuck on so I have high hopes for cleaning it up. Its an R3, I was hoping it was a 1980 which it isn't but it will be my first adjustable. Total 28 bucks for all 3... How did I do?
