    Day 24 of 30 days of Henckel straights

    I grabbed the 6/8 Henckel today. 2 passes and a little cleanup on the chin resulted in a zero-blood BBS. One thing I am really liking about using a straight is that it is entirely possible to cut a single hair which ensures that all of the hard to reach places get taken care of.

    The ABC produced a very slick lather with a great Almond scent. It is not quite as slick as Shave secret, but it is very close.

    24MM silvertip set an extra 10mm deep

    Brush: Wild West Brushworks/Elite Razor Manchurian White-24mmx54mm
    Aftershave: Reef Point Submariner

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    WSP Rustic Mahogany today. 20 seconds to load the new WWB/Elite Manchurian White. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 Tungsten in the Red Tip Super Speed. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Reef Point Submariner aftershave.

    In 2016 Doug @Boojum1 , Doug @Douglas Carey and I got together and had a matching custom brush made for each of us from Elite Razors. The brush was made to recognize our friendship that developed here on TSD. Late last year, Simpson had a tweet featuring a limited run of CH2 synthetics in Jade so the three of us snatched up most of the limited supply. My guess is we will have another Friendship or "Amigos" brush made sometime this year.

    Agree, post shave not up to my liking but I didn't have a problem with lather and yes, pretty darn cold.
