Fat Boy with Perssonna 74, doesn't get any better than that. I think I can reach 30 shaves with this Spoiler that I am using at the moment.
Thursday's "Anything But Gillette" DE Shave Dove Men Face Wash Col. Conk Lime Bunny B-400 Cashmere EJ89 Chrome Wilkinson Sword CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayer's Lemon WH Barbasol AS The Col. Conk Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Bunny B-400 Cashmere synthetic brush. I did two passes the EJ89 Chrome razor and Wilkinson Sword blade, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Wow, with 21 shaves already your off to a great start. The Personna Tungsten Plus is the blade I've been using. Not to be confused with the Tungsten 74. I got 30 shaves out of the Personna Tungsten 74 and I could have more. I have just received a Personna Star Platinum Coated from Glasgow, Made in Great Britain, that I will use next week. I have 2 tucks one I'll use, the other will be saved. I haven't heard or seen these blades before. Here are some pictures.

Had a face freezing shave this evening. The Brain Freeze reminds me a lot of War Blend only with a heavier dose of menthol. Surprisingly the soap was much more intense than the splash. Soap Smooth has become a favorite of mine, surprisingly since the first few SS soaps I tried burned my face, but gave them a second chance and glad I did. The performance is top notch and they have some unusual scents as well. Anyways, got a super smooth shave and finished off with matching aftershave and a few hours later put on some CL TSM Fougere salve. Hope everyone had a great shave!

Thanks Doug! I just received this soap/aftershave combo, plus a tub of Soap Smooth Pumpkin this morning from a member on another forum. Both scents are awesome and hopefully the Pumpkin doesn't cause any irritation since some cinimon/ spice scents can cause burning.

Tonight's shave was with a "Second String" razor, promoted to "First String". This is a big old Japanese blade, that works very well, despite the weathered looks. It was one of my first rescue razors. It's right up my alley. The progression happened because I touched the edge up on the SB Arkie Progression. Very smooth 2 pass shave. BBS results, without nicks, cuts, or weepers. Razor- Japanese "Cherry 92" Best Steel. Brush- B400 By Tom Soap- ARKO/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Yum Yum Yum.
