Do you remember when you were a young lad & started noticing the Ladies? Might have disregarded those 5 or 10 years older that you. Later Ladies chronologically ahead of you that became attractive might include those blessed with a score of years more than you possessed. Eventually those women who, through no fault of their own, being of a younger demographic seem childlike yet had attained adulthood. I think the math goes (1/2 your age) + 7 years. Or is it 17 will get you 20? Anyways, Robyn Hilton hasn't worked in TV or movies since 1985.
Well, with apologies to @clint64, @Douglas Carey and everyone who provides good photos in this thread, here are pictures of tonight's shave equipment: Rockwell 6s in leather blade cover, Alluminati Envy White brush, glass jar of Supply Provision shave cream and my three bowls. The stainless steel bowl has an opening diameter of 3 1/4". It's sitting in my horn quaich and the new black clay bowl has the brush in it. The second photo also shows Equipment Inspector Pete hard at work checking the photography setup and making sure his staff monkey isn't getting away with anything.
April 20, 2017 Wolfman WR1 OC Feather (2) “Amigos” Simpson CH2 Jade Synthetic Route 66 Lumberjack Fine Fresh Vetiver The CH2 synthetic continues to impress with each use. I have found for me it works best to start with it damp and add water to the knot as I face lather. This allows the lather to develop and prevents me from adding too much water. After yesterday's experiment with a 2 pass shave, I went back to my normal 3 pass shave this morning. After minimal touch ups, I ended up my normal near BBS. A splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver was a perfect finish to an overall excellent shave. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

April 20 Gillette Old Type w Lord Platinum (3) TGN Synthetic/Mahogany Handle Stirling Gin and Tonic SS Thayers Unscented Stirling Mentholated Balm Day 15 of the Canadian Old Type focus, day 3 with the Lord Platinum. Another fine 3+ pass shave this morning. With Spring (Ok, maybe not Spring, but at least above freezing...) in the air, the Gin and Tonic produced a great, nicely scented lather and the Lord Platinum was smooth and sharp enough on its third day. Missed a little on the jawline and I didn't go ATG on the neck. Finished with some mentholated balm and am enjoying this DFS. Have a great day all!
Day 25 of 30 days of Henckel straights I did a single pass shave on most of my face and a double pass on my neck today using the smaller 4/8 round toe. I got a decent, if imperfect shave. Some areas are very smooth and some could use another pass. However, I look like I have shaved, which was all I was looking for today. 20 April 2017 Blade/Soap Focus Shave As I have been jonesing for Bay Rum, Route 66 "Rum Runner" was the soap of choice this morning. JR#161 is continuing to make a bid to be my daily driver. It whipped the 66 into a very nice slick lather. The VDH/Wilkinson delivered it's best WWS so far. 2.5 passes and no weepers. Of course tomorrow is it's last shave and it goes to the bench as the '52 Super Speed takes over Sunday. I splashed on some VIBR and headed into work. Now, I have a question for the soap guru's out there. I have two soaps with wide mouths( Route 66 and Razorock) which with about one minute of swirling I can get a pretty decent lather when I go to my bowl. I have three with small mouths(Cella and Catie's Bubbles) that I swirl for the same one minute and I do not get the same result. Do I have to swirl longer to get the same result as the wider opening? I'm using the same amount of water. I'm puzzled
