Nice picture and set up, Adam. That is a nice thought about the your memory of your time with your mother and the soap scent.

Razor: Gillette Executive Gold Adjustable Fat Boy (F 1) 1960
Blade: Personna 74 Tungsten Plus (20)
Brush: El Druida Te Vigilo w/Manchurian
    Soap: Jeeves Soap Turkish Bath
    Aftershave: Fine Platinum

Hard to believe I have had 20 shaves from this blade. Three passes with a very through clean up. The Turkish Bath soap is impressing me.

Ah, yes. You were in deed the "usual suspect of outdoors photos". :happy096:

    Razor: NDC Post-War Tech
    Blade: GSB(4)
    Brush: Cremo by Vie-Long
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

I continue to be off-focus as I accustom myself to this Tech. This was pretty much the same shave as the last couple of days except for switching to the Cremo brush. No complaints other than possibly wishing the brush was a little larger. Two passes and a bit of cleanup to a near-BBS. Depending on how the morning goes tomorrow, maybe I'll try the English Tech again. :)

I think many of us got into this in order to save money. I failed at that pretty early on.

Beautiful photo Adam. You are so right on scent and memory. Big plus to the scent of the soap that triggers a memory of your Mother.

After seeing so much snow in your photos, it is very nice to see some green. :happy088: That blade is like the Energizer Bunny.

Thanks Clint. The blade is very good. I'm going to change Sunday unless I get some tugging before hand. I other Tungsten Steel blade I could still be using. :happy088:

Doug, both the Executive adjustable and the El Druida brush are beauties. What a fantastic set up! It's nice to see all the snow gone up your way. All the new growth is really starting to bust out here in my neck of the woods.

That is an excellent picture Adam. A soap that reminds one of their Mother has to be a bonus. Well put also. :happy088:

Thank you Charlie. After a long Winter the rebirth of the land is amazing. There is a farm across the road from our house and seeing the cattle out grazing warms my heart. I still like to help him with his haying in the Summer.

Lucky for me most of our cattle around here are polled Herefords. There are milkers, but I don't help out on those farms much. I prefer working with beef cattle. It's a bit of a hobby these days. We do have lots of bears though. Rule #1 don't run. Bears are very fast.

Adam, I'm just not sure how you would explain it to the Emergency Room personnel. "I had razor blades taped to both hands, and..." I'm sure the on-call psychiatrist would be able to sort it all out.

It's amazing how much scents can trigger memories. This soap will always be special. Thanks for sharing that Adam.

Tell them that the voice in your head told you to do it. Tell them you call the voice Neal. All will be good
