You have expressed absolute aversion to shavette, and said they ruin my photos. So, in the interest of time, we bestowed honorary shavette "Arch Guru" status upon you. "Sensei" is a Japanese word meaning "Master or Teacher." The intent is of course, ironic, and is meant in the most friendly way possible.
Yes, don't worry. I wasn't understanding the "Fabulous Unicorn". Mine, i understood it completely. And trust me, i have watched all instances of Karate Kid multiple times, so you bet i am a proud Sensei! About the shavette, i was unjust to it. I thought that the shavette and the straight razor, were the same. Only today did i learn that they are different. I hate them both!
You'd love varmint shoots on the prairie out here. Hares and Prairie dogs with 5.56 over unobstructed flat terrain, prone in the bed of a pickup. With optics, 500-700 yards is not out of the question. To the uninitiated: Varmint shoots target rapidly-reproducing small animals that destroy agriculture or dig burrows that injure livestock. We use military style rifles because they are powerful and accurate, and allow for a one shot instant kill with little chance of leaving a wounded animal alive to suffer needlessly.
I never got the chance to shoot like that. I actually use to deer hunt with a Remington 700 bull barrel in 22-250. had a6.5-20x50 veriX-3 scope as I recall. Never shot it over 500 but I bet I could pull it off.
Mississippi born Mississippi and Louisianan raised. Lived in Tucson for 5 years. I Understand the concept. WOOO
Terrain is so flat here that it opens up a lot of range for consideration. The muzzle velocity of 5.56 keeps it flat and helps with drop; wind however, can be a challenge here.
I would have to work at it a bit as I have not been shooting a lot these days. I think I could get the MOJO back though. As a bonus laughing at someone missing is good for the lungs and heart.
My grandfather was an old Florida cracker who was a hunting guide for the Kellogg family in Palm Beach. I only went quail hunting with him a couple of times, but have fond memories of shooting with him. Now as an adult shooting, like shaving gives me something to put 100% of my focus on for a short time, keeping my mind off work and problems of the day.
