April 25 Fresh off a touch up on a Shapton glass 16k is my Koraat. The edge was smooth and sharp. Four passes zero blood, zero irritation just short of BBS. Irritation A+ Closeness A- Smoothness A Sharpness A
So that carton of 12 Arko sticks I picked up might be good for over 6 years of shaves all by itself...
Today's mail call was a goodie. I will be the first to admit the picture is crap, so let's just get that out there and move on. My lighting is horrid, my angle is off, etc etc. The crop that I have so inexcusably relegated to shadow is courtesy of our own @Drygulch and looks a whole sight better than my pic. The Shavette is part of my Mayhem. Never seen one like it. Ought to be fun. Last night's shave was courtesy of my new GEM, Old Spice Indian Lathering Shave Cream, and some witch hazel. That's one smooth razor. I've not yet found another handle exactly like this one: A fantastic shave was had, and that cream was soooo heady with that good old Old Spice scent. I found it at a local Indian grocery store. Good stuff. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
I would agree. I have never actually used an entire stick of Arko yet. I have used about 80% of two sticks then put what was left in the cabinet to be smashed into the mug I sometimes use. Since it was always several months before I used even that much I know I've never had a can of any shaving cream last that long. Per shave cost has to be lower for the Arko.
It's about to get its first shave on. It came with some Dorco blades, which I have yet to try, so it'll be a new shave all around.
Dorco SE?.....run long far and fast!!! Really I tried some for a review across the street. Could not get a shave from them. Not sure they will scrape paint.
Yes. I've used the Omega 48 literally three times since switching. I can't see any discernible wear, other than handle scratches. I own but two brushes. I think 2400 days is probably realistic.
