  1. I also have an Ever Ready/ Gem Push Button. Note the ER HFT has a blank rounder on the Handle, whereas the Gem
has a G in the roundel, hence often called a G Bar.

  4. Beautiful Featherweight!! Welcome to the next level of shaves. Your DE stuff is about to get lonely.

Those are good blades. But you need to hook up some PAL blades..wooo

    Good man. Carry on!!

So today had round 2 with the Hussy. It did not feel so special. When I finished though I had a surprise solid shave. Wooooooo. A few more shaves and I shoukd have her all figured out.

    Schick I1 & Schick Twin [ 4 - Japan ]
The use of a Twin Blade makes a huge difference to this Razor. An excellent smooth and very close all round shave today, gives the AC powered ones a run for their money. Yes I know, the cost of the blades is high but I save on the cost of other items [ do no use EDT, and have inexpensive brushes ].

Featherweight today with really smooth results. Nice shave. I enjoy using the GEM razors from time to time for some variety. The Stirling lather was outstanding and I really like the Stirling splashes as far as skincare and scent. Really nice all around.

    Have a great day!

    Blade: Chick

    Soap: B&M Petrichor
    Post Care: Thayers Witch Hazel
    Alum
    Osage Rub
    Aftershave: B&M Petrichor

Fantastic shave this morning. I really enjoy the scent of the Petrichor, it reminds me of quality time in the garden as a kid with my parents and grandparents. It smells exactly like wet dirt but there's a nice spicy background that peaks through every so often. Once the AS dries down that spicy scent becomes more pronounced, I can't place it but really enjoy it. Another full pass shave with the Chimera this morning. I love this razor, it is wicked sharp and easily maneuverable plus the western grind makes it easy to find the edge. One pass with the Supply and one with the Chimera and I ended up with a DFS. Have a great day folks!
