Jason, what a fantastic photo! The grain in your mahogany brush handle is awesome. It has been fun following your Canadian Old Type focus this month. Enjoy your day, my friend!

It occurred to me this morning that I only face lather with shave sticks. This morning I decided to try it with a tub of my favorite soap. I loaded the brush and went straight to the face. I got a wonderful lather and great shave. I don't have to limit myself to shave sticks on the road anymore

You've got me curious wondering what the trick is. No teeth on the other side?

I've heard the SC can vary in aggression depending on which cap it has, but nothing of MAYhem quality. This is definitely going to be interesting.

BTW, I think the case insert is in backwards.

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

Oh doggone it you guessed it. The case insert is the trick. Oh wait, no it's not. Just the way it came. In the picture when I was considering buying it I actually had to think for a second what the heck that opening was for. Had it been in the right way my mind would have said "blade case". Somehow having it reversed made my brain freeze up as I tried to figure out what the heck it was for. Can't say I'm always the brightest in the bunch.

did you use those with stirling samples. did you have alot of space left on the edges?

has anyone tried the 4 oz containers with stirling samples? and refill pucks.

I dont like to have alot of extra space in my containers. space is at a premium in my cabinet and cant give up the room for a contaier containing mostly air.

    Thanks!

While working for a Interior Plantation Shutter company (Yes, I did window fashions), we had several grades of quality control. Those that we mounted on the inside right above kitchen sink window got an A+ no flaws finish because Herself would be looking at or through them often. Other end of the scale were the garage shutters. Considering they'd end up with bugs and spider webs from leaving the door open, quality control was,"30 MPH, from the street". It's one of those value judgements that stayed with me.
