  1. It was Williams Wednesday in the Hutch. I pulled out a cake of the older stuff in a Old Foley Scuttle and a smaller generic boar brush. That along with a PAL in the 1915 Kampfe Bro/Star created a awesome close smooth shave. As usual.

Nice and enjoyable shave this morning. I went with the Schick Adjustable and will probably finish out the month with it. The Wickham soap lathers quite easily and is high quality. The TSD Barber Shoppe scent pairs up really well with the Cashmere scent of the soap. A terrific shave overall.

    Have a great day!

  4. This was overdue. On a whim I pulled out the Bunny today. Wow, it had been too long. Two passes with the Wild, one with the Mild. It doesn't get any better than this. :happy036:

  5. After seeing a bunch of "anything but the MMOC" references here in discussions about the new GEM razors I figured it was time to go back to it. Great shave with a carbon Blue Star, my enthusiasm tempered only by the knowledge that these blades are one (beard and head shave) and done . I don't know why so many folks can't deal with the MMOC, nor do I get why if it was so out of the mainstream in terms of aggression why ASR would have kept it unchanged for so long. She and I get along great. Bumpless version, shimmed with a twin Injector.[IMG]

  8. The MMOC is the razor that got me into SE shaving. It is a very effective wisker destroying heavy piece of machinery. A young friend of mine is just getting into shaving. After reading about the beast he drew this. tmp_3013-vzm_58d16ef9_6b8b4567_28d-attachment_1-orginal_image_1490120441-1793696385.png This razor points out bad technique like few others. With solid technque it is incredable shaves all around.

Awesome. When your ready to try one send me an addy and I will Hook you up with a PAL blade.

  9. Thanks Fuzzy. I'm gonna use the GEM for MAYhem(that's as mayhemy as I'm gonna get. I had 29 years of mayhem. Don't need anymore) After I get my feet under me I'll definitely take you up on that.

  10. So I loaded the GEM Featherweight for the first time. Pretty straightforward. The blade slid down to the two little stops and I snapped the lid closed. Good to go for Sunday.

  16. I'm with you on the Gem MMOC. I love that razor and get wonderful shaves out of it. I can easily get BBS shaves every time. I know everybody's face is different, but I find it a pleasure to use.
