I use to love riding my Fatboy before I got sick. That was over a year of pure hell ago. Now that I am on the mend I decided to get another bike. I have been riding Harleys for over thirty years but decide to not get one again until I am stronger. I was looking for a 500 to 750 thinking I could handle that ok. I found a Suzuki GSX750f for cheap on Craigslist because it needed work. It's a sport touring bike. Never been on one in my life. I don't know what I was thinking. It still needs work but it helps keep me off the streets and out of trouble. Besides, it has become my workout routine instead of having to pay to go to a gym. You know what they say about bikes and boats? The happiest days of your life right? Well here's a picture of it when I first bought it two weeks ago. bscarpenter Love the picture of the bulldog. Reminds me of the one I use to have. Wonderful animals and loyal friends.
"Disclaimer: I am not a bike rider, I do not claim to be. Nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night" With that being said, It's the point of a bike to be on the streets causing trouble? In all seriousness I'm glad to hear that you're back on a bike and hopefully one day you'll be back on a Harley. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
400 mi glorious day of riding back roads in the books. That's just a lunch ride to some of us folks. List is updated. I'm going to dine, enjoy a few sips of Kentucky bourbon and a winner shall be picked. Not too late to get in.
I'm telling you, that you'll be so concerned about your throat, your earlobe may very possibly be the first casualty. It was for me.
Awesome!! Just wanted to be sure that I am there since I couldn't see my name in the list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
By the way, where are you located in South Florida, and where did you ride? I am in West Palm Beach and my VP of sales rides around Stuart and South Florida. You guys may have run into each other at some point.
Our group rode from Boynton Beach to Venice for lunch @ Snook Haven & back via the back roads. The group rides every Sunday, 300+ mi lunch rides during the season & shorter breakfast rides during the summer.
Wow I am going to have to get my bike running. I would like to be able to do that. It brings back memories from the seventy's for me. A few of my friends would get together once a month and take a Sunday lunch ride. I would be ok with just going from where I live in Stuart to Jupiter.
I couldn't help myself. After all I am a captain you know. A captain of what has never been determined
Ron, are you Bob Stauffer's neighbor? (Browns fan who work's at Rich's Ice Cream)? Seems like we've met.
First, I would like to thank @Keithmax for PIFfing this fine razor to me & shipping it from South Korea. Second, congrats to #3 @cliffb599. The winner. PM me your info. Third, thanks to everyone here who keeps this a great place to come together.
