#167 and #168, side by side showing the black synthetic and two-band badger in each. The #167 is finished with polyurethane and the #168 is finished with polycrylic.
JR#167 is complete now that I have set the 2-band badger. The brush is going to @richgem who has adopted it. It will be leaving for Connecticut Monday.
Those are two SWEET brushes Jim. They look like they are very comfortable to hold. I cannot wait to see what Brush 250 will look like. I call dibs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I never thought I would get to 100, so it is possible, Lord willing. You may have to shoot me a reminder. Maybe we can work out something special for 250.
You got it Jim. It will be an honor to have another of your brushes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
#167 arrived a day early and the pictures already posted just don't do it justice! Jim is really an artisan and the grain on this wood is amazing. I'll post bloom and lather pics either later today or tomorrow.
I received this Maggard 26mm Black & White today. I needed to open the hole a bit more before I could set the knot, but I got it done. It is a big knot, but it is a big handle, too. This is going to be a keeper. It is made from the Japanese Horse Chestnut wood I got from @Sparrow in Japan.
