It's an absolutely magnificent soap. My wife says it smells not bad, but I LOVE that scent. Does it ever lather like a maniac!
It's all good. I got a sample of the Scots Pine Sheep, same performance in a scent I like! Their sheep soap is the only thing I've found so far that out performs the standard Stirling line!
Until two years ago I only used the Glacials and other mentholated soaps which are also cold. I bought a Barbershop soap and can underwrite that I'll buy it again and I definitely want this Electric Sheep and Sharp Dressed Man again. I also plan to try the Executive Man and the Bay Rum.
My Stirling order has arrived!!!! Ron and Amanda, everything is AWESOME!!! Love it all. Thank you. Even looking forward to trying Island Man bath soap you added to the box! Thanks.
Haven't tried the bay rum but I do love Executive Man so much that I ordered the Balm and bar soap in it! I love the touch of pineapple and other scents that comprise Creed Aventus in their version. It is definitely one of my most favorite scents. Iced pineapple I am sure will also climb the charts
Here's my personal review of the Electric Sheep soap and I'll tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Ease of lathering: 10/10--This soap lathers so easily. It's like it can see a brush coming. Longevity of lather: 10/10--It's so stable that a five pass shave is possible, maybe six, or seven. General skincare: 10/10--More proof that Rod and Mandy are soap geniuses. Moisturizing, soothing, and very comfortable. Scent: 9/10--A little strong, yes. But to me in a very good way. I love it. Price: 8/10--Even with the exchange rate between Canadian and American currency it's damn reasonable. Would I buy again: 10/10--Yes, in a heartbeat or less. It's a beautiful soap. A Stirling treasure. Any comments?
On the lather longevity, maybe this mean I can get a 3rd pass in(2 has always been enough for me). 5? Tough for me to imagine....for now
I couldn't believe how long it took to rinse my brush off yesterday. That lather is rich and thick enough easily for 5 passes. I did 20 swirls and it was overflowing.
I've always been on the fence about this one since I read a review that both men AND women have used its cologne clone. But I shouldn't let that bother me,. as the Rise Super Foam can be used by both too, and we all know I love dat foam.
That is the large 8oz tin from Stirling with the sample of Mountain Man pressed in the bottom, here's what it looks like in the tin: and BTW i find Mountain Man to be a very masculine scent.
