Lovely photo. That bowl is just over the top. Looks like you and @Linuxguile are using the soap destroyer brush today.

Congrats on the brush Andrew. Look forward to your thoughts on the brush. I found mine loosened up after 5 or 6 uses. Your soap inventory is quivering in fear. :D

My bad Chris. I knew this when praying for both of you, but my week has been full of more huge disruptions than I care to describe, Can't has scrambled my brain a bit making a few of my posts look up like I am the "stand in for the village idiot" a bit. OK, maybe I can't blame that second part on my week, but the first part is, anyway. Today, I am taking my third grade daughter on a field trip to the ballpark. She has never asked me to go on a field trip for, and has been talking about this nonstop For the last month. Workaholic that I am, I've already had two conference calls with lawyers, on my cell while driving to the way to the school, but I'm hoping to shut that down shortly, as I am sitting here in the Carline waiting for the kids to arrive. Looking forward to hopefully a more relaxing day in the last week.

Thanks Clint, I spent some time just stroking the knot yesterday. Its amazing how soft the bristles are and how dense the knot is packed

The density is amazing. The knot is so much more dense than I expected. Now it is my favorite synthetic brush and in the running for my favorite brush overall.

    Razor: Post-War NCD Tech
    Blade: Dorco ST-301 (4)
    Brush: Cremo by Vie-Long
    Cream: Dove Hydrate+
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

I completely forgot that it was Star Wars day, though I don't have any SW-related shaving gear so there wouldn't be much I could do anyway.

The brush and cream was a bit of an experiment to see if they make a good pair for when I go on vacation. The first pass lather was a bit off but the razor was mild enough that I didn't notice. More product and more water resolved that issue for the second pass.

The shave itself was decent enough though not as close as I might hope for in spots. I'm wondering if the blade might be falling off a bit. No complaints from post. though, so all is well.

No worries! It's hard to keep up! Enjoy this day with your daughter. It's always amazing when they actually WANT dad time and they are excited about being with you and showing you off to friends. It's worth shutting things down for a few hours and giving them the attention they want. Sounds like a great day ahead for you!

As long as the epoxy holds, that should be a successful shave. The branch is big enough to keep the blade from flexing too much. If the epoxy starts to weaken while you are using it, the quality of your shave may decline. Good luck!

Great lather, badger knot tied for 1st place in my den, fresh blade in The Bunny using the NOTSO comb, & my Lady friend's favorite AS. Only one nick to keep me humble on an epic BBS shave.
    Good Shaves Y'all!
