Seems to be nobody's favorite but Clog-Pruf delivered a really beautiful head shave and the Blue Star equipped CP only failed at the very end when it came to ATG on my chin which I cleaned up with the Injecto-matic. Love these blades. Hate these blades.[IMG]

Last night I had a MAYhem shave that was well, rather lacking in mayhem. The star of the show was my new Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic. What an amazing brush! The knot is unlike any other synthetic that I've ever used, and synthetics are my favorite. Super soft bristles, as soft as the plisson style knots, but packed so densely that this brush is not "springy" like most other synthetics. I loaded for about 20 seconds and had the knot completely saturated with soap. I took the loaded brush to my scuttle and it immediately transformed the soap into a thick creamy, glistening, lather that was devoid of air bubbles, usually I have to work the lather for a few minutes to get to that consistency. The second shave with the modified Astra SP in the E3 was just as smooth as the first and after 3 passes was as smooth as can be. Finished up with spritz of Fine American blend. Have a great day my friends!

So I finished my first Focus week with the GEM Featherweight/GEM Stainless Steel blade. By today I figured out the angle and grip and had my best shave of the week.
Sunday starts a new week and new blade. Treet blades that I found at RiteAid. Should be interesting for sure.

    Ever Ready 1924 +S/S Handle with GemPTFE [ 3 ]
After recent Shaves with DE/Injectors & AC powered razors, interesting to get back to Vintage SE. Makes one realise how easy it is to shave with the New AC SE razors, the 1924 really needs to be handled with respect and care. Really pleased with the quality of Shave
today , very rewarding as you know you can shave if you get a good trouble free shave with the 1924.
