To be honest, when I first used this head with the handle it came with, I just didn't quite get the shaves I wanted and just put it away in my parts drawer. I just took the original handle and used it with an Old Style OC, where it worked fine. After a while, I decided to try it out with this heavy handle, which I got from @Herm2502 a while ago, and it has turned into a stellar performer, especially with Lab Blue blades. The extra weight really helped it out a lot. Two passes and minimal touch up for a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave. Hardly any bite at all when applying the after shave.

 

Saturday Shave: Vintage Sheffield French-point 6/8" by George Wostenholm & Sons; Soap Commander's excellent 'Renewal' soap and matching aftershave balm, custom Oscar 11 boar brush. Smooth, slow & comfy shave, despite using my right hand only! Have a wonderful Saturday, gents!

Another great shave from the Paradigm. Two passes did the job. The Dorian brush is gorgeous and the ergonomics are outstanding. The knot has ample backbone and good flow, though after two or three lathers still feels a bit rough. There are very dark hairs distributed throughout the knot so it may not soften much, only time will tell. ​

Hey, I gotta show my creams some love too and this Barbon is fantastic. It smells, lathers, and feels great on my skin. The Nip Man balm has a good scent which doesn't linger and it's fairly cooling. Every time I wear the Alt Innsbruck I get compliments on it, especially from my mother-in-law. It also feels very mentholated. I'm freaked out how well the Rapira blades - this one is still giving me very close shaves!
