I'm actually a little worried about Neal. Usually, he is leading the charge on this kind of stuff, and he seemed excited about taping a razor blade to his finger to shave with it last month. @NCoxSTL, you above water?

 

Hopefully he is just really busy at the store with the weather, or maybe his power is out. Did you try to PM or email him?

Well I guess this is my first post for Mayham although not a Mayham shave. I have been shaving with my SE razors but this is my first shave with a repeater. I was surprised at how well it shaved and how heavy it was, but it was a great shave. I got my shower and let my brush soak while I was in, I had preped my razor before hand with new Schick blades. Once I got out I preped my face for lathering and whipped up a nice lather. First pass was WTG keeping the head at a slight angle to my face. Second pass was XTG, got really good beard reduction and could have quit right there with decent face shave. Third pass ATG and that me to flipper smooth with just a little clean up. I rinsed with cold water and used my Alum block which stung a little telling me how close I got. I splashed on a little witch hazel and patted my face. I let that dry and reached for my Veg and splashed that on, I felt my face tighten up and rubbed my face felling how smooth it was. I was impressed with my first shave with my Schick Repeater and will try it again tomorrow night.

Boker Straight
Omega 10049 Boar Brush
Route 66 Bourbon Jungle
Thayers Rose Witch Hazel
Schick G1 Injector (head shave)

Second verse, same as the first. Stropped, face shaved with the Boker (2 passes, no blood), head shaved with the Schick G1, witch hazel on both. Dried razor, stropped again, and headed to bed. Bourbon Jungle is one of the great scents in shaving.
