Menthol Monday
I used B-M Arctique for the first time from a pass around. I had tears by the end of the first pass, and clear sinuses by the third. This is the coldest soap I've used. It is the old school vegan formula, so I could tell how much B-M has improved their lather. Still, I got a great shave on a day with frost warnings in May. I finished with B-M First Snow to extend the cool and add a nice scent.

First shave with the Canadian Triangle Tech and it didn't feel any different from the other variants in rotation. A nice shave...

Very nice, cold shave this morning with Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill. Really enjoyable. I loved the high menthol effect. Terrific lather with the Surrey badger brush and smooth efficiency from the GEM 1912. All around great shave to start the work week.

I started off the week with a fabulous three pass bitterly-cold shave (yes, three passes!) with the Glacial Wintergreen soap. The matching balm and witch hazel added their wonderful skincare that feels so good and frigid. I noted before I rinsed off my brush that I could have done another pass if I wanted to because the lather was so rich, but by that time I was completely BBS!

SOTD: Vintag Sheffield 'For Barber's Use' 8/8" from William Greaves & Sons, Valobra soap with an extra shot of TSD's M-Bomb menthol, Omega Pro 48 boar brush, Pre de Provence Shea butter aftershave balm. I love this big-bladed shaver: far easier to use than as it appears, super keen & smooth. Great razor. Have a wonderful week, men!

Today's shave was nice. I got mango lime for my birthday (ty mo, love that you listen to your dad's rantings). I really like the soap, it's performance is top notch. The scent comes off very nice with a hint of Windex when smelled dry. Once wet, the mango really comes out. Excellent mix of lime. It makes me happy to put it on my face. It's slick enough that I got a bbs shave with the FaTip (no blood) and a newish lab. Finish with alum and lime sec. Very nice shave. Lookout y'all Tampa Shave Company has got a winner with Mango Lime.

Rustic Shaving Soap Mahogany today. 20 seconds to load the HFD/TGN Premiun Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus still in the Gillette Fatboy. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Reef Point Submariner aftershave.
