The CO Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Made-Rite 12 Boar brush. I did two passes the Gillette Super 84 razor and Kai Stainless blade, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

A friend of mine lives in the mountains just N of San Diego and they got 10 inches of snow last night and today it is 75 degrees on the mountain go figure. Excellent pic Doug

Shave #3 since surgery, 2 months ago. It's still interesting doing the left side of my face, given the no hearing and numbness around my incision (top of my ear); I have a hard time grabbing by my side burn to stretch the skin...but I'm making do. The shave soap is amazing! I like the scent and it lathers very nice! (and it's that awesome creamy lather too...like MdC). All in all...awesome shave!

 

Thanks Guy. Actually the Pink lasted a bit longer today and I can still smell a faint hint of it even now. It really is a great value. Also thanks for the kind words about my sanity, but even though logging my shaves may not be too nutty, I think I still must be a little crazy being so into my shaves. At least it starts my day off on a positive note and makes the morning just a bit more enjoyable!

I was kidding with my wife this weekend that had she not encouraged me to try something besides my normal goo about a year ago, and if I picked something other then Cremo Cooling which immediately hooked me with enjoyable shaves, I probably would have been still using carts and hating waking up every morning! It is funny how one little event or choice can really have such a big impact and wind up changing everything.

Very good shave tonight. It has been over a year since I used a GSB and it was very comfortable. This is actually my last GSB. I have a stubborn spot by my adam's apple that my Weishi doesn't handle very well that I had to go over a few times. Other than that it was a great shave. The Derby shaving cream is great and I highly recommend it !!!
