    Early morning shave again. Love sunrises! The shave was a great combo of the Rockwell 6s & Polsilver SI blade. Smooth and efficient with the #5 plate. And again, the Stone Cottage soaps have been absolute beauty's in my recent use of them. Post shave feel is just phenomenal. Can't say enough about it. Old Spice Classic (India) rounded it off very nicely. Superb shave... Have a great one Gents. ;)

    Blade: Polsilver SI #2
    Brush: Zenith Silvertip w/Alum Handle
    Soap: Stone Cottage Spiced Myrrh
    W/H: Thayers Medicated
    A/S Balm: Nivea

    Tonight's shave was with a freshly restored and honed Ivory Scaled razor. I had a fantastic 2 pass shave, that left me smooooth, without issues.. Excellent razor.


    Razor- Geo. Wostenholm IXL, Ivory scales.
    Brush- Semogue 1305 boar
    Soap- Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Aftershave- Avon Spicy. Mmmmm Mmmmm Good.

    Beautiful bowl! When you make lather do you go clockwise, or counter? I wouldn't want to interrupt your shave but I'd like to see an action shot!

    Couldn't agree more. The gent who got me started in this is a minimalist and I am completely in the far end of the scale. He thinks I'm crazy for all the hardware/software I have and cant believe I use a spreadsheet. To each his own, I have fun with it and enjoy different combinations each day.

    I never paid attention in the direction I swirl lather, that's a good question. Maybe on the weekend I can do a shot but in the morning I have to get myself ready as well as my granddaughter so I can get her feed then drop her off at school before I head to work.
