Royale Wednesday
Another optimal shave with Monaco Royale. The lather was even better than I remembered - thick slick and shiny - better than yesterday's. La Floret de Liguest matches pretty well with it's musky citrus and top notch skincare.

Everything started off great with superb lather. But I ended up with some irritation and redness on my neck, which is unusual. Could be the morning fog of tiredness perhaps. Nevertheless, I needed some balm to calm things down some. Oh well. This is a rarity for me so I won't get caught up on it.

Soap Commander is tremendous soap. Give it a try if you haven't already.

Morning Roby. I see your up to you old tricks.

 

For the first time the Black Ice soap made my eyes tear a little, although still nothing like the Glacial Obsidian so it shows that even this soap packs a hell of a menthol punch. I enjoyed three passes with it and got a great BBS shave. The Krampert's Frostbite aftershave is also PLENTY cold and very moisturizing and soothing. No complaints - mission accomplished!

 

SOTD: Vintage Sheffield razor from Wade & Butcher 7/8," Martin de Candre 'Fougére' soap, Shave Works Silvertip brush, Soap Commander 'Renewal' (fourgére) mentholated balm. Large, heavy shaver with a keen, smooth edge. Only two passes but nearly-BBS results. Happy Hump Day, gents!

Another home run from B&M, I love the scent from this soap and AS; more floral than I typically use but a clean scent with a masculine background. It was a pleasant change of pace for me. The performance is typical B&M greatness. First pass with the Supply and just one with the Chimera today and I'm left with a DFS. My first attempt with the Chimera going ATG and it worked beautifully. Zero feedback from the alum and a hearty splash of B&M and I'm ready for the day. Have a great day folks!

 

Great photo and spot on assessment of the Cologne Russe scent imo. I just purchased the matching soap and a second bottle of the AS, I like it so much.

 

Thank you, it's been about an hour since I applied and the background is coming through more. A very nice woody scent with what I can only describe as darker floral scent. Very complex scent, I love it!

RazoRock Tuscan Oud today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus still in the Gillette Fatboy. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with RazoRock Tuscan Oud aftershave.
