I am enjoying this combo. I try to use each brush and soap all week. Mystic Water like Route 66 makes it easy to enjoy the week. I plan on using MW soaps the remainder of May.

Edit: Well actually, after posting I realized some spots on me head could have used more buffing. The AC blade equipped 1914 took care of those areas quickly.

Delightful shave this morning. All worked well and my face is happy. Also, found another bottle of the 1585 in my cabinet. That's good cuz I (and the wife) like it a lot. All is well. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Mastro Livi Razor Club 2017, Again​

Saturday I am going to return this Club Razor 2017 prototype to Mastro Livi after having had the privilege of testing it for about two weeks. By the way: tomorrow will be the last day for ordering this Mastro Livi Club Razor 2017 and after this date there will be no way to order this razor anymore. I have to say this has been a very luxurious and enjoyable testing, the quality of this razor is stellar having a super smooth and cutting edge delivering a superb close shave. I also like the overall balance of the razor, making it very comfortable to use. The look of this Mastro Livi Club Razor 2017 is terrific: the three semi-precious stone inserts make the blade very elegant and exclusive, very classy adding an artistic pleasure to the joy of shaving. The cocobolo scales perfectly match the shiny blade with its majestically mirror finish. Shaving with this prototype Club Razor was really a joy and I cannot wait to have mine. It simply and certainly is yet another fine masterpiece from Mastro Livi, a real master in craftsmanship.​

After finally finding my lost empty tin packed away in a moving box, I used the Dirty Deeds Vanilla Sandalwood soap for today's shave. Nice scent, not overpowering, with great lather and protection. Able to get an excellent two pass, with minimal touch up, smooth and comfortable BBS shave. Again, thanks to @Drygulch for sending me these Dirty Deeds soaps.
